Carer Contingency Plan – From concept to accessible practice online workshop

NHS England has organised an online event for an update on the Universal Care Plan: Carer Contingency Plan (CCP): From concept to accessible practice.

What to expect

During the event you will:

  • See how CCPs are developed and used in practice in hospital, community and voluntary sector settings
  • Explore how your organisation can support uptake and accessibility for carers and the people they care for
  • Access resources and support materials for professionals and carers

Universal Care Plans and CCPs can be:

  • Created in hospitals, the community, or by individuals via the NHS App
  • Used to alert professionals and trigger replacement care when it’s needed most
  • Supported by a growing suite of practical tools and guidance

Be part of scaling a simple but powerful approach that protects carers, improves visibility, and strengthens system response.
