Homelink are running a joint carers assessment event with Whitton community centre to promote Carers assessments and the regular review of carers assessments. There will be representatives from Hounslow and Richmond Adult Social Care to discuss the process, what can be accessed in each borough and an opportunity to book a full or reviewed assessment.
Carers Connect sessions are designed to provide carers with valuable information, practical advice and the opportunity to connect with professionals and fellow carers. The session will be on 25th June 2026.
What is a Carers Assessment?
A Carer’s Assessment looks at how your caring role affects your life and wellbeing, and what support you may need to continue caring and to protect your own health, work and personal life
What to expect
This session includes:
- An informative group discussion
- The opportunity to speak with professionals
- Pre-book a carers assessment or a review on the day
- Connect with other carers though shared experiences
- Refreshments provided
