Richmond Carers Centre, a network partner of Carers Trust, is a registered charity providing information, support, advice and a voice for carers living and caring in London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Carers provide vital support. They can come from all walks of life and be of any age.
Helping Carers to Live Well is our organisational aim. In each of the below advertised roles, we are looking for someone with the skills and ability to offer a coordinated approach to supporting unpaid and family carers in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Young Carers Support Worker – Part time (28 hours per week – 4 days) – £35,615 pro rata (actual salary £28,492)

As a Young Carers Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to young carers and a commitment to enhancing their wellbeing. The role supports in the direct delivery of a range of services to young carers including information and advice, emotional support, a mentoring programme, signposting and referrals to other specialist organisations.

Volunteer for Activities, Leisure and Break Programme

As a Volunteer, you will be part of a small, dedicated team that provides a range of services to adult carers. The focus of this volunteer role is to support in the delivery of the activity and leisure break programme.

Sessional Workers – £14.80 per hour. Paid monthly.

This does not include sick or holiday pay and will not be paid for any sessions unattended. Recruitment ongoing

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed sessional workers, willing to get involved in activities – active, creative and outdoor games – who are sensitive to the needs of vulnerable children. It is vital that you are confident interacting with young people and able to adapt to new situations. Experience of working with children or groups of young people is essential.
