Visit a national garden and support carers

If you are looking for a peaceful day out with a purpose, the National Garden Scheme’s Open Gardens offer the perfect escape and every visit helps support carers across the UK. The National Garden Scheme has been an important supporter of unpaid carers, having donated £350,000 to Carers Trust in 2024.

With gardens open across the country throughout September, October and beyond, it is a chance to explore stunning spaces, enjoy a slice of cake, and know your visit is helping someone caring for a loved one. All for a small entry fee, typically around £5-£10.

It is a simple yet powerful way to show your support while enjoying something special for yourself. Find a garden near you that is open this autumn.
