The cold temperatures in the last few weeks have highlighted the need to ensure that our homes are as energy efficient as possible.
Carers Trust has teamed up with Energy Saving Trust to produce energy saving advice specifically for unpaid carers. The advice is in the form of interactive online modules, which are designed to help busy carers understand:
- insulation and draught-proofing your home
- heating systems and controls
- the risks of carbon monoxide poisoning
- the Priority Services Register (PSR)
- energy-efficient appliances
- grants and schemes for insulation and heating improvements
How to participate
The interactive online modules can be accessed by clicking on the button below.
Carers can sign up and go through the modules in their own time and at their own pace.
