South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust has released its new Recovery College course prospectus for September to December 2026. These free, educational courses are designed to help people understand mental health challenges, build practical well-being strategies and support long-term recovery.
Who is it for?
The courses are fully inclusive and open to several groups across Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Sutton, and Wandsworth:
- Service Users: Anyone currently using SWLSTG mental health services or discharged within the past 12 months
- Supporters: Family members, friends, and unpaid carers supporting someone who uses or has recently used these services
- Staff: Trust staff members looking to develop their skills

While many courses are open to everyone, the college offers a dedicated Family, Friends & Carers (FFC) pathway. These online sessions provide targeted support for those in a caring role:
