Over 60% of ‘at risk’ people in Richmond are without protection from flu

An ‘at risk’ person is anyone aged over six months old who is living with an underlying health condition and who, without a flu vaccination, is likely to have a more nasty experience of flu than other people – should they catch it.

Do you have an underlying health condition, or look after someone who does? It could be asthma, emphysema, heart disease, diabetes, hepatitis, Parkinson’s disease, a learning disability, or a weakened immune system or being seriously overweight (BMI over 40).

If you do, then it’s time to get your free flu vaccination. It’s not too late and it’s free because you need it.
To get you free flu vaccination, visit your nearest pharmacy or speak with your GP practice.
