Richmond Furniture Scheme

Richmond Furniture Scheme is a local charity that accepts donated used furniture and sells it back to the public at very reasonable prices. Local people can refurnish their homes for a fraction of the price charged in shops. People on low incomes can buy from us at a discount.
You can help families and young people in Richmond by donating your unwanted furniture. We do not charge to collect and we have parking for those who are able to drop off their donations. We will always help to load and unload.

At our site in Fortescue Ave, Twickenham we also run an upcycling project called Carousel, where tired items are creatively revamped, giving them a new lease of life. Our scheme is run by a very friendly, enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers. We are always looking for more volunteers to join us and we have various roles available. Some people come to work on the shop floor, meeting customers and taking sales. Others help mend and restore furniture. Carousel is able to support volunteers to learn new techniques and share ideas. Carpenters and upholsterers are always in high demand.
