All Ability Cycling in Kneller Gardens – spring timetable announced

Richmond Council Friendly Parks for All and RISE (Richmond Inclusive Sport and Exercise) have partnered with Bikeworks CIC. They are inviting carers and/or their dependents to their free All Ability Cycling Sessions this spring. After being shown how to use the cycles, they are offering the chance for a short ride to explore the park and linked green spaces.

Bikeworks will bring a range of adapted cycles, including single/tandem tricycles, side-by-side cycles for two or more people, wheelchair platform cycles and go-kart style recumbent cycles, designed for people with learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities to enjoy cycling. The sessions are suitable for anyone who wants to cycle in a park.

Family activities for the school holidays

The Friendly Parks for All project is also planning some family activities in the school holidays (see the flyer below for details of the first of these). Sessions can be booked online. Families are encouraged to book early as there are limited slots available for these sessions.
