Richmond Carers Centre – Young Carers Service has opportunities for sessional workers for our after school groups, school holiday trips and activities. The activities are for young carers (aged 5-17 years) who have a family member with a physical or learning disability, mental health condition, substance misuse problem or long term illness. The activities offer young carers the opportunity to meet other young people in similar situations and to have a fun break from their caring role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed person who is sensitive to the needs of vulnerable children. It is vital that the worker is confident in interacting with young people and able to adapt to new situations. Experience of working with children or groups of young people is essential.

Location:                   Main office is Richmond Carers Centre, 5 Briar Road, Twickenham, TW2 6RB.
Trips and outings usually take place in and around Richmond and wider London.
