Consultation is open on resident’s experiences of local pharmacies

Public consultation is now open on the draft Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025-2028. Richmond Council wants to hear your views on local pharmacy services.

As part of the 2025 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), residents were invited to complete a short survey about how they access and use pharmacy services, what works well and areas that need improvement.

Richmond’s Health and Wellbeing Board received feedback from residents to understand current

  • service use
  • satisfaction
  • unmet needs

The results of this initial survey have informed a draft PNA report, which will help shape decisions about future pharmacy provision and commissioning.

For those who may not be familiar, the PNA is updated every three years and looks at the current health needs of the population, the level and accessibility of pharmacy services within the area covered by the Richmond Health and Wellbeing Board and how these will be maintained and developed in future to best meet local need.
