Sight loss also affects friends and family, who, in many cases, are the main support for blind and partially sighted people. To help manage these challenges, The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) have created a Focus on Friends and Family course called Living Well with Sightloss.
Who is it for?
For adults of all ages who have a friend or family member with a visual impairment.
What will I get out of it?
You will get practical advice, information and guidance on organisations, products and services that are available to help you. There will also be plenty of opportunities to learn from and discuss personal experiences and share top tips.
Course details
There is one telephone session a week over four weeks which last one hour each.
Starting on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 at 10am for one hour, with future dates and times being added.
