The Richmond Women’s Hub, launched in February 2024, is a free, welcoming weekly space for women in the borough—particularly those affected by domestic abuse, violence, isolation, or mental health challenges. It offers holistic support to enable women to thrive after experiencing domestic violence, the criminal justice system, abuse, or multiple disadvantages.
What is on offer
- Wellbeing Activities: Mindfulness, tea and coffee, choir sessions
- Creative Workshops & Pampering: Arts and crafts, manicures, massages, hairdressing
- Support Services: Access to experienced psychotherapists, community nurses, and case support for women in crisis
- Community Building: Peer support in a safe, friendly environment
- Nutrition: Free healthy lunch and refreshments
Upcoming Program
‘I Am’ Project: Starting 30th July 2025, this 6-week course invites women to explore relationships and build a positive self-image. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
Sisterhood Sanctuary (term time only): The Sanctuary is a wellbeing session, with ample opportunity to enjoy being pampered! You can have a manicure, massage, take part in art and craft activities, and enjoy a free and healthy vegetarian lunch.
Sisterhood Choir (term time only): A great way to make lasting friendships whilst having huge fun. It is free of charge and you will get to sing a wide range of songs. No previous experience necessary. If you love to sing you are in. Just turn up on the day.
