Help shape the new Richmond Carers and Young Carers Charter for those living in Richmond

Do you provide unpaid care for a friend or family member?

Richmond Council, local NHS services and voluntary sector organisations are partnering to develop a new Carers and Young Carers Charter — shaped by carers, for carers—to improve local support and recognition. The aim is to better recognise and support unpaid carers of all ages caring and living in London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. To ensure this Charter reflects real experiences and insights, Richmond Council need your help reaching carers in your community.

This covers key issues, like

  • recognition of carers’ roles
  • financial and educational challenges
  • carer-friendly services and communities
  • health and wellbeing support

You can also help by encouraging people from your community who care for a friend or family member to complete the short survey.

This survey will be open until 31st March 2025.
