Richmond Council Friendly Parks for All and RISE (Richmond Inclusive Sport and Exercise) have partnered with Bikeworks CIC. They are inviting carers and/or their dependents to their free All Ability Cycling Sessions this summer. After being shown how to use the cycles, they are offering the chance for a short ride to explore the park and linked green spaces.
Bikeworks will bring a range of adapted cycles, including single/tandem tricycles, side-by-side cycles for two or more people, wheelchair platform cycles and go-kart style recumbent cycles, designed for people with learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities to enjoy cycling. The sessions are suitable for anyone who wants to cycle in a park.
