Home Services for Carers Services for Adult Carers Breaks and Leisure

The Richmond Carers Centre Culture Club is a programme of short trips out to places of interest within easy striking distance of the borough. Trips usually last approximately three hours, though there are often opportunities to stay longer if you wish. Culture Club places are booked on a first come first serve basis and we will contact you to confirm your place. Richmond Carers Centre relies on donations to keep the cost of Culture Club trips as affordable as possible so that carers usually pay a reduced amount towards trips. The Culture Club is open to all adult carers registered with Richmond Carers Centre.

Richmond Carers Centre is recruiting

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed sessional worker who is sensitive to the needs of vulnerable children, to assist with our after school groups, school holiday trips and activities. It is vital that you are confident interacting with young people and able to adapt to new situations. The activities are for young carers (aged 5-17 years) who have a family member with a physical or learning disability, mental heath condition, substance misuse problem or long term illness. The activities offer young carers the opportunity to meet other young people in similar situations and to have a fun break from their caring role. Experience of working with children or groups of young people is essential.
