Local charity Multicultural Richmond is launching a new community initiative called the Hampton North Social Club. Designed to be a warm and welcoming space that is open to everyone, this new group aims to bring local residents together to foster new friendships and build a stronger community.
Before regular activities are finalised, the charity wants to ensure the group is built around the desires of local people.
Community members invited to share ideas
To make sure the new social club offers activities or gatherings that residents want to attend, Multicultural Richmond is launching a community survey. Whether people are interested in arts and crafts, fitness sessions, cultural celebrations or simply getting together for a weekly chat over tea, all input is valuable.
Residents can share their ideas instantly by filling out the online form.

Social Club launch
Following a successful period of community planning, the Hampton North Social Club officially launched on Tuesday 8th September 2026. Moving forward, the charity warmly invites all local carers to attend the group on any Tuesday morning to enjoy a well deserved break, meet others in similar situations and access a supportive network.
The sessions take place weekly at Active Hampton, providing a relaxed environment with complimentary refreshments. Carers can drop in at any time that suits them without booking in advance and they are also highly encouraged to complete the Hampton North Social Club Survey Form (https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/gmV8n9HRs7) to help Multicultural Richmond tailor future activities to their specific needs.
