Know where to turn- New NHS mental health signposting resources

Know where to turn: New NHS mental health signposting resources now available

Do you know where to turn for mental health support?

New resources are now available to support local people, healthcare partners, and community leaders and organisations in signposting to key NHS mental health services across south west London.

The new ‘Know where to turn’ mental health signposting toolkit includes a range of printable and digital resources designed to raise awareness of the support available for people experiencing mental health difficulties, including those in crisis.

Accessing the right support at the right time

The toolkit has been developed to support improved access to both urgent and non-urgent mental health services, ensuring that people across our communities know where to turn when they or someone they know needs help.

Urgent support is available including NHS 111 and crisis telephone services for adults and young people, as well as a network of local Recovery Cafés providing out-of-hours, walk-in support for adults. Non-urgent help includes NHS Talking Therapies, GP support and wellbeing resources like the Every Mind Matters digital tool and Togetherall for young people.
