The Mulberry Centre is an award-winning, independent cancer support charity who offer all of its support free of charge.
The Mulberry Centre supports people throughout their cancer journey and beyond, from diagnosis, through treatment and post discharge. It gives support whilst coming to terms with a diagnosis as well as strategies to manage physical and emotional needs.
The Mulberry Centre also support carers and family members to deal with these changes. It does this by providing
- Counselling
- Complementary therapies
- Wellbeing classes
- Providing supporting information tailored to the needs of its clients
- Information workshops
- Support groups
These services are offered both at The Mulberry Centre’s purpose-built centre in Isleworth and remotely.
The Centre supports wives, husbands, partners, parents, sons, daughters, friends and carers. You might think of yourself as just looking after someone close to you but if you are the main supporter of the patient, then you are treated as a carer.
The Mulberry Centre’s services are also available to people who are bereaved. They are all free of charge but donations are always welcome.
The staff at The Mulberry Centre understand that people with cancer, and those who care for them, often have a busy schedule of hospital appointments and treatment regimes. The Mulberry Centre ensure flexibility in the provision of all appointments and you can now access its services online for relaxation, coping strategies and advice.
