Dementia Action Week is fast approaching. This year it is taking place from Monday 13th to Sunday 19th May. This is an opportunity to raise awareness about the condition, have conversations about dementia and get up to date with what is happening in the borough too.
Pop-up Information Dementia Day
Age UK Richmond’s Dementia Friendly Communities Richmond (DFCR) will be especially active on Wednesday 15 May raising awareness and providing information to the community at this free to attend “Pop-up Dementia Information Day” event.
Age UK Richmond and Alzheimer’s Society Richmond will be available from 10.30am.
- Pop in for tea, cake and a chat with Age UK Richmond and Alzheimer’s Society Richmond
- Learn about the condition and how best to support someone with dementia
- Hear about the work of Dementia Friendly Communities Richmond
- Tell us what you want from a dementia inclusive borough
- Talk to Dementia Advisors from the Alzheimer’s Society
