Senior Carers Support Worker and the Counselling Coordinator
Friday mornings or Tuesdays
Our counselling service provides short term counselling to adult carers registered with Richmond Carers Centre.
We are offering a permanent volunteer counselling placement to see clients on a Friday morning or Tuesday. Applicants need to be either qualified counsellors or on a recognised counselling diploma or higher training course and have the full support of the training organisation to start a placement.
You would also need to be available for fortnightly supervision, please indicate your availability for supervision in the availability box on the application form. We provide subsidised supervision but we ask that counsellors pay £15 per session.

Short listing is usually based on experience (either personal or professional) of working with carers so please include any relevant experience in your application.
