NEW For carers and parent carers – Plants poets’ corner. Meet at 10.40am for an 11am-12.30pm session. Friday 16th November and 21st December 2018; 18th January 2019. Led by a professional poet, learn about Kew’s rare and endangered plants through creative poetry. Free, booking essential at email@example.com

Guided walking tours with sign language
11.30am, Sundays 4th November and 2nd December 2018; 13th January 2019. This British Sign Language tour is for anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing. It offers a fascinating overview of the gardens, its history and important scientific work.
11am, Wednesdays 7th November and 5th December 2018; 2nd January 2019. A health walk for local residents who wish to stay active. NB: The walk is not guided; it is supported and led by Volunteer Health Walk leaders, but there is no official interpretation.
Dementia friendly health walks
10.30am, Tuesdays 20th November and 18th December 2018; 15th January 2019. A guided health walk through the gardens for local residents living with dementia and their carers.
11.30am, 11th November and 9th December 2018; 13th January 2019. Sensory guided walking tour designed for visitors with sight loss and their carers. Attendees will have the opportunity to touch and smell elements in the gardens. Starting point will be confirmed when booking.
