Down to Earth is an award-winning charity providing guidance and support to help people plan affordable, meaningful funerals. We also provide workshops talking about ways your money may be affected after a bereavement. This workshop is suitable for those who have recently experienced a bereavement, or those who may be planning for a bereavement in the future. This workshop offers guidance on benefits that may be affected, changes to tenancy and housing costs, bereavement-related benefits, who to contact when someone dies, dealing with the estate, ways of managing financial uncertainty/making ends meet and where to get specialist advice and support. There will be time for questions and answers, though we are unable to give advice on specific individual circumstances. We will be running a workshop at Richmond Carer’s Centre on 22 February from 10am to 12noon.
